A decade of dedication: KY Voices for Health marks 10 years with Emily Beauregard

A caring and effective advocate; our state is lucky to have her.

By the KVH Staff

If Emily Beauregard had her way, this milestone might pass as quietly as some of her most consequential policy wins. That’s just who she is, always focused on lifting the spotlight away from her to the people who need it most. That’s exactly what has made her ten years of leadership at Kentucky Voices for Health so transformative.

Emily doesn’t just lead KVH; she’s a living embodiment of our mission to amplify the voices of others. She’s spent the last decade listening to those who are too often left out of the conversation, and in doing so has turned KVH’s coalition into a people-powered movement. Under her guidance, KVH has become a trusted force for health equity – mobilizing communities, defending access to care, and making sure policy reflects the lived realities of those it impacts.

For Emily, legacy isn’t measured in headlines or accolades. It’s written in the stories of families who kept their coverage, communities that are healthier and more resilient, and advocates who found their voice. Ten years in, with what is admittedly one of the most tumultuous years in our organization’s existence, we are still dreaming bigger, still building bridges, still fighting for equity and access. And it’s because of her quiet, persistent work each day that any of it is possible.

Emily, thank you for ten years of leadership, love, and relentless hope. Kentucky is a better place because it has you.
