Add this to your No Kings event!

Can we make it go nation-wide? World-wide?

Got this email from Susan Haddix of Berea, and I think it is a cool idea, so I’m sharing it here. (And linking to it from the No Kings list, and will reshare regularly this week.)

Here’s the scoop:

We in Berea, KY would like everyone to join us in a unified International heartbeat that everyone can participate in no matter where they are.

On Oct 18th with the 1st beat at 12:30 Eastern, Berea, Lexington, Paducah, Northern Kentucky, and other sites in Kentucky (and now multiple states, nations, and countries) will be drumming with a heartbeat for 2 minutes.

It would be cool if we could make this grow into a shared moment with multitudes beating a heart rhythm at the same time. Be it on a drum, poster, dashboard, thighs, fingertips even, kind of like we did during covid.

I am reaching out to humbly ask that you join us from wherever you are and to share my invitation to others to join our heartbeat.

Susan from Berea

Okay folks, get your “drums” ready for Saturday! And spread the word!
