Who is Iva Markicevic Daley? Iva is a new mom and reproductive rights activist who knows what it looks like to have the odds stacked against you: she has been pregnant and uninsured; has had to drive 40 minutes to the nearest hospital for emergency care; and for the last 16 months, has balanced motherhood with a full-time job.
She is running because, while necessities like Medicaid and SNAP are on the line, our elected officials in Frankfort are more focused on culture wars than ensuring we all have access to food, shelter, and healthcare.
