Senate Bill 4 would create a five-year roadmap for setting school principals up for success. State Sen. Steve West (R-Paris) hopes this will translate to them becoming better school leaders and staying in their positions longer.
“This is a uniform, mandatory across-the-board approach, where each principal gets specific training for the first five years of their work,” West said.
