No Kings – Louisville Crescent Hill

A different, but very effective, approach

Unlike the downtown rally, the Crescent Hill No Kings did not meet in one place and hear speakers. Instead, they spread out along Frankfort Avenue for over a mile, on both sides, and held their signs up for the cars going by to see. They also encouraged people to honk if they were in support of the event and against Trump’s attack on democracy, and the honking was pretty much non-stop.

One estimate put the crowd at 300 or more.
