Political billboard focused on Trump sparks debate in Madison County

And more are coming, according to the person who paid for the billboard

A billboard focused on President Donald Trump's felony convictions that was installed in Madison County by a Kentucky voter advocacy group is sparking debates online.

The billboard — which reads, “Your president is a felon” — was installed Nov. 26 near the intersection of Big Hill Avenue and Eastern Bypass in Richmond. The statement refers to when Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in New York in 2024. He was sentenced to an unconditional discharge in January, which prevented jail time but cemented his felon status. Lawyers for Trump launched a formal appeal of the conviction in October.

ForwrdPress owner Dylan Creech said he came up with the idea while considering “what’s at the core of the problem we’re facing as American citizens.”

Creech selected the location of the billboard based on where the most people would see it. When installing the billboard, Creech said his goal was to “maintain visibility” on issues he believes are important that “some Americans might forget about.”
