- About 133,000 people will be kicked off of Medicaid in Kentucky. The next highest state is North Carolina, with 79,000.
- If you take an average of the people kicked off Medicaid in all other states, it is 27,720. The harm to Kentucky is almost five times greater.
- If you then take the median of people kicked off Medicaid in all other states, it is 18,000. The harm to Kentucky is over seven times greater.
Money
- Kentucky is estimated to lose over $10,000,000,000 in Medicaid funding. (That’s 10 billion dollars.) The next closest is again North Carolina, losing $6.4 billion.
