To answer a regular question: YES, we take reader submissions! Some of our regular contributors started out by sending in an article to see if we could use it. When that happens, we love to say “Absolutely!”
So, to make it easier for readers to submit articles and/or photos, we’ve set up this form for submissions. Just fill in the form, upload your item or items, and click Submit. Super easy!
But, before you do that, here are some guidelines you need to know:
- As with any content, we may or may not use it. No disrespect meant.
- If we do use it, we may edit it – sometimes quite a bit. But, you will always get to approve the final version before we post it.
- For photos that are obviously posed (and even ones that aren’t), it’s always good to get permission to share the picture with us, AND to get names. By submitting the photo, you are asserting that you did, indeed, get permission.
- And, if we have any other questions about your submission, we will reach out pronto.
