Can Dems flip seats in KY this fall?

Let’s look at the numbers!

I keep hearing people say “we don’t have a chance to flip any seats in the legislature in deep red Kentucky this fall.” And they’re saying that in spite of the blue wave that seems to be building across the country, as more and more people are looking for something and someone to restore some sanity to this Trump-infected nation.

One way I describe myself is as a “stats nerd” – I want to see what the numbers say. So, I decided to do some analysis. And of course, to do that, I had to build a spreadsheet. 😉

And what did I find? Well, things aren’t as bleak as you may think. In fact, we could absolutely flip some seats this fall. But to see how many seats, and where and why, you’ll have to watch the video.

And in case you want to do your own analysis, here’s the spreadsheet for you to play with.
