The Wrap for Friday, 1/9

The “ICE Out” rallies are this weekend – more details inside!

Notes from Bruce

  • Just learned about the “ICE Out” rallies a little bit ago, so am putting them front and center on the site and in this issue of the Wrap. There are events scheduled (so far) in Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort, Danville, Bowling Green, Newport, and Paducah.
  • The Bill Trackers will be up over the weekend. I’m also going to change the navigation on the site to make them easier to find. Remember, you’ve got to be at the Partner level or higher to access them.
  • Matching stories below: a bill has been introduced to prevent naturalized citizens from holding office, and a naturalized citizen said that bill prompted him to file to run for office in this election.
  • If you’re up for some good snark, Rob Mattheu’s “Republican Ten Commandments” fills the bill.
  • And one last time: As I announced in the newsletter on Sunday, to continue receiving the Wrap your membership must be at the Patron Plus level or higher. I’m sending the Wrap to everyone subscribed to it this week, and will repeat this note each time. Starting next Monday, it will only be sent to members at that level. So, if you want to keep getting the Wrap, be sure you are at that level. You can go to your account to make sure.

On to today’s Wrap ...
