A feelin’ punk newsletter

Haven’t heard of that phrase? Read on.

Notes from Bruce

Well darn – I was all fired up to write up a big newsletter about our upcoming Summit ‘25, and all the great talks and speakers we’ve got planned for you.

And then I got Covid.

So, I’m feeling a little punk this evening, and not up for writing anything of any substance. That will have to wait a few days.

But, you can read more about the Summit below, and learn why you need to be watching your inbox closely.

All for now,

Bruce

A word from our sponsor

This newsletter is sponsored by Joe Graviss, who encourages all of us to remember this updated version of the Serenity Prayer:

God, grant me the patience to work with the unjust systems I cannot change to day; the courage to strategically enact progress when I know I can; and the wisdom to know that despite structural oppression, I can still make a difference. Amen.

Updates

Summit ’25

It’s happening!

I’m excited to announce that the final details of our all-virtual day of talks and workshops, Forward Kentucky Summit ’25, are coming together in an exciting way. We’re going to have a big event, and it’s going to be awesome!

I’ll run a whole newsletter just about the Summit next week. But for now, just know that we’ve got 18 talks or workshops let by some proven experts, and the variety of topics means there’s something for almost everyone!

Much more to come, so as Rachel Maddow says, “Watch this space.”

Watch your email!

And speaking of watching – I will be sending out invitations to sign up for the Summit using an Early Bird special: “Pay What You Want” tickets! That’s right – you can attend the whole thing for as little as $1.

(As you can imagine, I hope you see enough value there to prompt you to pay more. <g>)

These PWYW tickets are time-limited, so you’ll want to respond when you see it hit your inbox.

And, since these are perks for our members, the Partner members will get their invite first, followed by our Patron and Friend members. So watch your email for your invite!
