Snowmageddon!

And, your weekly update!

Notes from Bruce

  • Hope all of you are warm and safe in the midst of this winter storm. Here at ForwardKY HQ, it is getting colder and colder. Bundle up good if you go out!
  • I’m going to stop listing the “KYGA Update” and “Daily Wrap” newsletters in the weekly newsletter. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t subscribe to them – you absolutely should! But if you are subscribed, there’s no need to clutter up the story list with them.
  • I sent out an email earlier this week with the subject line “Are you missing out?” Basically, it was to address two ongoing problems:
-- Members who have perks (like newsletters) they aren’t using; and
-- Members who sign up for a newsletter, but aren’t at a membership level where they can receive it.
If you fall into either of those categories, you can take care of it by logging in and checking your email subscriptions and your member level, and make sure they match and that you’ve turned on the newsletters. Got questions? Just reach out to me.
  • Be sure to check out all the articles this week from our contributors; some really good ones there.
  • And, if you are thinking of filming ICE if they show up in your part of the state, be sure to read the first two stories in the “From other” section. I’ve arrowed them so they stand out.

As always, thank you for being a member of Forward Kentucky!

Bruce

Updates

Bill trackers are live

Our KYGA bill trackers are live on the site! They’re listed under the KYGA menu. Be sure to view the video on how to use a bill sheet if you’ve never done it before.

I’m going to be adding bills to the “Key Legislation” and “Monitoring” sheets tomorrow morning, so check them tomorrow afternoon.
